Purpose of the Job:
To support the successful implementation of Nisir’s strategy by implementing an effective performance management system and learning and development programs.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
• Implement the learning and development and performance strategy, policies, and programs.
• Collaborate with HR Business Advisors for the implementation of business-specific learning and development programs.
• Develop effective performance management tools and systems.
• Develop annual LD plans in collaboration with other functions.
• Gather and analyse the cross-functional performance data.
• Develop the specification and participate in the trainer selection process and monitor long-term engagement with identified trainers.
• Maintain relationships with learning and development vendors to ensure that Nisir is receiving cost-effective learning and development solutions.
• Drives continued organizational learning and enable Nisir’s employees to collaborate and share knowledge, develop their skills, make effective decisions and solve problems.
• Design programs to mitigate performance gaps.
• Review learning and development programs’ impact assessment reports and provide feedback to HR experts.
• Maintain an accurate and updated learning and development information.
• Implement best practices and reduce costly rework by designing and implementing a companywide knowledge management system to capture, structure, manage, share and apply knowledge, and feed valuable lessons learned and best practices into corporate memory.
• Deploy different kinds of learning methods companywide٫ such as coaching٫ job-shadowing٫ online training and so on
• Create training programs that are aligned with the organization’s objectives and have a strong understanding of what these are.
• Work closely with various leaders across the organization and having a full understanding of their units and training requirements
• Arrange orientation sessions and on-the-job training for new employees.
• Handle the organization and maintenance of books, publications, periodicals, magazines, newspapers, company documents, objects, audio-visual aids, and other reference materials for convenient access, copying records to film, videotape, audiotape, disk, or computer formats as necessary.
• Ensure a proactive, responsive and expert service talent development to provide across the company.
• Manage training policy, procedures, evaluation criteria, inter-unit collaboration for specialized requests and ongoing development according to career path and performance evaluation.
• Prepare Nisir’s annual learning and development budget.
Qualification and Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Management, or related fields
• Four (4) years relevant experience. Prior experience in the financial industry is an added advantage.
