Purpose of the Job:

To align Human Resource processes and programs to business priorities, culture, and organizational values by designing and implementing effective human resource strategies, systems, and talent programs to acquire, develop, motivate, and retain capable talent.

Main duties and responsibilities:

• Provide the right level of capabilities, talent, and HR service delivery to enable an engaged and productive workforce (to meet the Company’s goal).
• Define and drive coherent companywide HR strategy, delivery model, and services.
• Develop and drive the implementation of HR policies and processes.
• Develop formal systems for improving, tracking, and rewarding staff performance.
• Design and oversee recruitment and career management programs.
• Lead implementation of Learning and Development strategy and programs.
• Ensure equitable remuneration & benefits programs.
• Ensure strategy-aligned structure, governance, decision rights, and job designs.
• Provide support across the organization on people-related requests, issues, and questions, including hiring, training, talent development, and compensation.
• Partner with line management and HR operation teams to create innovative solutions when standardized products are not sufficient.
• Provide subject matter expertise, advice, and guidance to HR operation, and line management and assist HR Operations in resolving complex issues.
• Research and development/sourcing of the best solutions and new concepts with respect to people management.
• Coordinate and work with results of internal and external benchmarking to create and share best practices.
• Own the applicable HR processes in their specialist area on an enterprise basis.
• Continuously identify opportunities for improving the effectiveness of HR service delivery in the concerned area of HR expertise.
• Communicate service changes/updates to line management and HR Operations.
• Interpret policies and apply legal and compliance requirements as necessary.
• Lead the initiatives for using HR data and analytics tools to analyze trends and gain insights into workforce issues.
• Provide human resources-related inputs on a proactive basis to business strategy development and execution especially pertaining to workforce planning, talent acquisition, and career and succession planning.
• Manage vendor relationships.
• Monitor and control operational interaction with outsourcing HR service providers.

Qualification and Experience:

• Master’s degree in Human Resources, Management, Business Administration or related fields with six (6) years of demonstrated experience out of which two (2) years in a managerial position.
Or
• Bachelor’s degree in Management, Business Administration, Human Resources, or related fields with eight (8) years of demonstrated experience of which three (3) years in a managerial position.
• Prior experience in the financial industry is an added advantage
