Job Title: Director, Legal and Loan Recovery
Qualification and Experience required
Master’s degree in law with five (5) years of demonstrated experience out of which three (3) years’ experience in a managerial or supervisory position ideally in a leading organization (preferably Banking Industry), proven track record in providing accurate and effective legal counsel, contract negotiation and drafting, adding value to an organization through the development of comprehensive contract documents that mitigate risk and penalties;
Or
Bachelor’s degree in law with seven (7) years of demonstrated experience in a managerial or supervisory position, ideally in a leading organization (preferably Banking Industry), proven track record in providing accurate and effective legal counsel, contract negotiation and drafting, adding value to an organization through the development of comprehensive contract documents that mitigate risk and penalties.
Job purpose
To plan, organize, direct, lead, and coordinate the legal service activities of Nisir. The Director provides expert counsel and insights that enable Nisir’s board of directors and the senior management to make informed decisions and achieve the organization’s business objectives; leverages deep industry knowledge, regulatory expertise, and leading-edge research capabilities to provide the highest quality legal advice and insights; provides input in the development of Nisir’s long and short term strategic and operational plans and policies
